Services:
Chemistry - testing for chemical components of the blood to include glucose, and cholesterol. Also immunochemical components of the blood such as Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA).

Hematology - the study of cells and their components such as a Complete Blood Count (CBC). Testing for things such as anemia and leukemias

Microbiology - Testing for infections and appropriate antibiotic treatments

Coagulation - testing for bleeding issues such as a prothrombin time (PT)

Blood Bank - Processing of blood products to be given to patients. Testing includes antibody compatibility of the blood product and blood typing.

The Marian Community Hospital central laboratory is open for outpatient testing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is accredited by the College of American Pathologists.
