Minimally Invasive Hip Surgery

Marian Community Hospital has begun a new, exciting approach to Total Hip Replacement Surgery. A minimally invasive technique introduced by the American College of Surgeons has been adapted into practice by the hospital. This advanced technique differs from the traditional surgery. It allows the surgeon to perform total hip replacement surgery through a much smaller incision using new and improved special instrumentation. The many benefits of small incision hip surgery are: less post operative pain, quicker healing, easier rehabilitation and a smaller scar.

Advanced procedures such as the minimally invasive hip surgery are one of the many ways in which Marian Community continues to provide the latest technology and quality services to the people we serve.
